Harry Potter
It was the teachers at Stagecoach School who sent Emma Watson's portfolio to the casting manager for the adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestseller, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."
The highly anticipated film premiere of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" took place on November 4, 2001. It broke records for viewership on its opening day and later became the highest-grossing film of 2001.

Education
Filming for the first and subsequent Harry Potter movies took almost the entire year, so Emma had to transfer to the Headington School for Girls, which offered the option of distance learning. Even during the peak of filming, Watson and her co-stars diligently studied the school curriculum for five hours daily. In 2006, during a break between the fourth and fifth Harry Potter movies, she received her high school certificate, boasting eight A*s and two As in her grades.

Other Roles

In spring 2014, she portrayed Ila, the adopted daughter of the biblical Noah, in Darren Aronofsky's "Noah."

In March 2017, the vibrant musical "Beauty and the Beast," a film adaptation of the famous Disney fairy tale, was released. Emma Watson played Belle, captured by the Beast (Dan Stevens). The film became one of the most anticipated premieres of the season.

In 2019, she starred in "Little Women," an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel. The plot revolves around the problems of four very different sisters living during the Civil War. Along with Emma, the film featured Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh. This adaptation of the novel was not the first, but critics found it very worthy. The film also received high ratings from viewers.

Emma Watson Now
Currently, Emma Watson rarely appears in new film projects. Rowling – instead, she suggested that Rowling should not dictate to transgender people how to live. Daniel Radcliffe, her colleague from Harry Potter, shares this view.
