Liam Hemsworth Biography
Liam Hemsworth is a popular Australian actor who really broke through after making the move to America. Even though his brother Chris Hemsworth is way more famous, Liam never rode his coattails to success. He was determined to make it in Hollywood completely on his own terms. He's constantly working to better himself and jumps at every chance to show what he can do. He shot to worldwide stardom playing Gale across all four "Hunger Games" films.
Childhood and Family
Liam, the youngest of the three Hemsworth brothers, was born in Melbourne. His mother, Leonie, worked as an English teacher, while his father, Craig, was a social services worker. His brother Luke was ten years older than Liam, and the middle son Chris was six and a half years older.

First Roles
Liam Hemsworth started his professional acting career at the age of 16. By then, he'd already snagged his own agent - whom he "borrowed" from Chris. The younger Hemsworth appeared in soap operas "Home and Away" and "McLeod's Daughters", then landed a role on "Neighbours" - his character Josh Taylor appeared in 25 episodes of the soap.

Career Blossom
But Liam didn't let jealousy get the better of him and kept auditioning. Eventually, the "Hunger Games" producers saw something they liked in him, and Hemsworth landed the role of Gale Hawthorne, the childhood friend of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence.

Personal Life
Liam's first girlfriend was Australian Laura Griffin, but the long-distance relationship proved too challenging. They broke up shortly after Liam moved to Hollywood.

A few months after the divorce, Liam began dating model Gabriella Brooks. They were together for almost three years before reportedly splitting in August 2022. Sources close to Liam suggested he was hesitant about jumping into another serious relationship. However, by November the pair were spotted together again, seemingly back on.I'm appreciating the little things. It's something I always try to remind myself to do, especially in times that maybe things aren't going the way I planned or the way I wanted things to go. Appreciating what I do have and searching for things that make me happy and things that make me a better person. This last six months, honestly, for keeping my head level and just staying balanced, I'd say exercise has been big for me.

Liam Hemsworth Now
In the fall of 2022, it was announced that Liam Hemsworth will replace Henry Cavill in the fourth season of the series "The Witcher". Like Cavill, Hemsworth is a massive fan of the fantasy world and was thrilled to land the role of Geralt of Rivia. "Henry was incredible, and it's such an honor that he's passing the torch for the next chapter," he said about taking over the role.
