Justin Timberlake is a chart-topping American singer who performs pop, R&B, and soul music, plus he's a songwriter and actor. After launching his career with the boy band *NSYNC, he successfully went solo and became one of America's most celebrated entertainers.
Childhood
Justin was born on January 31, 1981, in Tennessee to a deeply religious and incredibly musical family. His hometown of Memphis was where Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis launched their legendary careers. Justin's father, Randall Timberlake, played guitar in a band and led the choir at their Baptist church on weekends and holidays. His grandfather was also an excellent guitarist and even befriended Elvis Presley in his youth.


N'Sync
Justin was invited to join the band N'Sync when he was just sixteen years old. Despite his mother's concerns, he managed to balance performing with the group, school, and acting classes.
