Biography of Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot is a famous Israeli actress and model, who gained Hollywood recognition through her role in the "Fast and Furious" action franchise. The star's career has been marked by fortunate twists and unexpected opportunities, and the motto of the celebrity is the phrase: "Always move forward – happiness is waiting around the corner!". Her net worth: 30 million.
Childhood
Gal Gadot was born in the city of Rosh-ha-Ain in the Central District of Israel. The actress's father was an engineer, mother was a teacher. Both were born in Israel, though the celebrity's grandparents were European immigrants. During the invasion of the Nazi army, the actress's grandfather was imprisoned in a concentration camp, and this experience shaped how all his descendants viewed their heritage and family history.
Soon after Gal was born, the Gadot family moved to Tel Aviv, so all her childhood memories are associated with this city. Though the star has described growing up in a "very strict Jewish family," parents did not limit their beautiful daughter in her hobbies. For instance, she practiced sports and was fond of motorcycles.
Gal studied in a special school, where she chose the course of biology. After classes, she could be found on a basketball or volleyball field, tennis court or in the pool. The girl's greatest passion was dancing - she even dreamed of becoming a choreographer for a while. Over time though, her interests shifted toward law.
Model career and service in the Army
Gal's stunning looks caught the attention of modeling agency scouts. One of them encouraged her to enter the Miss Israel 2004 beauty contest. The 18-year-old entered just for fun and was genuinely shocked when she won: "I was shocked when they put a crown on me."

Actress's career
After the pageant, Gadot tried to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer. She went to college in Herzliya, where she studied law for several semesters. At the same time, she tried her hand at acting: in 2007 she appeared in the Israeli drama series "Bubot".Gal loved the experience, so right after finishing her first year, she flew to another continent to conquer Hollywood. Gal was invited to the casting for another film about Agent 007 ("Quantum of Solace"). The aspiring actress auditioned for the role of Camilla Montes, but ultimately, Olga Kurylenko landed the Bond girl role.

Gal Gadot - Wonder Woman
In March 2016, audiences saw the "Fast and the Furious" star take on a new role as Wonder Woman, a superpowered hero from the DC Comics universe. The action film "Batman vs. Superman" was the starting point for a new round of Gal Gadot's career. Interestingly, she originally auditioned for Catwoman, never expecting to land one of the franchise's most iconic characters. But her chemistry with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck was so strong that directors immediately greenlit her for future sequels.
Gal Gadot's Personal life
During filming of the fourth "Fast and the Furious" movie, Gal Gadot revealed she'd been in a long-term relationship with Israeli businessman Yaron Versano. The couple married in September 2008, and three years later welcomed their daughter Alma.
