Fame and Career
In October 2007, Kylie, along with her sisters and mother, became a participant in the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," through which viewers learned about the life, lifestyle, and professional successes of the family members.
The show gained immense popularity, which soon led to numerous spin-offs, in many of which Kylie appeared.
In 2011, the sisters became ambassadors for the famous Seventeen magazine, and the following year Kylie, along with her mother and Kendall, appeared in an episode of the American reality show "America's Next Top Model," hosted by model Tyra Banks.
In 2013, two nail polish lines named after Kylie were launched by the brand Nicole by OPI – the advertising brought the girl $100,000. That same year, Kylie and Kendall released a capsule collection "Kendall & Kylie" in collaboration with the PacSun brand, and also launched a line of jewelry "MetalHaven by Kendall & Kylie".
Kylie also dedicated considerable attention to charity. She created an eBay account where she sold her clothes. Proceeds from the sales went to Los Angeles Children's Hospital. The girl also made monetary donations to the US LGBT community.
Around the same time, the sisters released a dystopian science fiction novel "Rebels: City of Indra". Readers (after 4 months of sales, the book was bought by 13,000 people) severely criticized the girls' first attempt at writing. Nevertheless, later that year, the book got a sequel – "Time of the Twins". Despite numerous negative reviews, Kylie plans to continue writing – she really enjoys creating the world in which the novel's characters live.
In October 2014, Jenner launched a line of hair care products "Kylie Hair Kouture" in collaboration with the Bellami Hair brand. Six months later, the girl became a representative of the cosmetic brand Nip+Fab, becoming the second in the history of this famous brand.
In May 2015, it caused a huge public response when the girl enlarged her lips with hyaluronic acid. Her act led to the launch of the large-scale flashmob 'Kylie Jenner Challenge', where participants tried to add volume to their lips using a special glass (although Kylie herself never spoke of such a method). In June 2015, the Jenner sisters launched a clothing line "Kendall + Kylie" in collaboration with the British retailer Topshop. With an approximate annual income of $41,000,000, Kylie became the youngest participant on the list.
Soon the Jenner sisters announced the release of a line of t-shirts under the brand Rock vs. Rap. On these shirts, photos of Kylie and Kendall were superimposed on photos of legendary rap and rock musicians, such as The Notorious BIG, Tupac Shakur, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Pink Floyd, The Doors and others. The announcement was met with outrage from the relatives and representatives of the famous artists depicted on the t-shirts. The sisters publicly apologized and shut down the production.
In 2018, Kylie appeared as herself in Gary Ross' American crime film "Ocean's Eight".
Kylie Jenner's Personal Life
At the beginning of her career, from 2014 to 2017, Kylie was dating rapper Tyga. They met in 2011, at Kendall Jenner's birthday party, Kylie was 14 at the time. Their official relationship began in 2015, after Kylie's 18th birthday. Tyga appeared in several episodes of the Kardashian family's reality show. But at some point, they both felt they had become too different people. "There was no crazy fight, we just decided... well, I decided that I was really young," explained Kylie.
On February 1, 2018, Kylie gave birth to a daughter from American trap performer Travis Scott (born 1991), with whom she had been dating since April 2017. They named the girl Stormi Webster.
In August 2021, Kylie admitted that she was expecting her second child. The photo under which Jenner announced this news to her followers gathered almost 25 million likes and became one of the most discussed show business news of the year.
Kylie expressed condolences to the victims and said that neither she nor Travis were aware of what was happening, and only learned about the tragedy from the news. For almost two months she reduced her online activity to zero. The losses from forced silence and, consequently, annulled advertising contracts were estimated by experts in millions of dollars. At the end of the year, the girl came out to share the joyful news - she and Travis got a kitten.
On a beautiful date - 2.2.2022 - Kylie and Travis had a son. The boy was named Wolf Webster. "Yes, strange," Kylie admitted to her followers, now the mother of not only Storm but also Wolf. However, in late March, the couple announced that the baby was no longer Wolf. "This name doesn't suit him," Kylie thinks. For a while, the boy wore the name Jacques. Then Kylie fueled rumors of a secret engagement with Travis, showing the coveted ring on her ring finger.
The twists and turns with the son's name did not end there - in the summer of 2023, Kylie achieved an official name change. Now her son is called Aire.
Her relationship with Travis finally ran its course shortly after the birth of their second child. In January 2023 they broke up for good. Neither Scott nor Jenner revealed the details of the split. An insider told People magazine that it was due to their different characters: the rapper loves parties and leads a rather wild lifestyle, while Kylie wanted to focus on her children and business.
