Childhood
The actress, who was destined to conquer her native Britain, and then the whole world, was born on February 23, 1983, in central London, in Wandsworth.
The parents tried to give their children all the best. The children studied in prestigious schools. Emily was fond of music and loved to ride horses but she suddenly began to stutter at the age of ten. Visits to speech therapists did not give any result, meditation, relaxation, and treatment courses by psychoanalysts were useless. Doctors were giving up: the amusing and sociable girl before was becoming a closed shy child.

Emily Blunt’s personal life
Since the end of 2004 the actress dated Canadian musician of French ancestry Michael Bublé. To be with her beloved, Emily bought an old mansion in downtown Vancouver for two million dollars. Two years later, the couple forcedly broke up because of the mismatch of the work schedules and Emily’s workload, as well as the musician’s excessive jealousy.


The actress’s favorite perfume is the Opium. In 2012 the actress starred in a clip dedicated to the legendary fragrance. Emily was wearing only smoking, the cult object of the luxurious house of Yves Saint Laurent.
