Top 10 Actors Who Will Star in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day"

The cast of the new "Spider-Man" has expanded: Tremell Tillman — star of the series "Severance" — has joined Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jon Bernthal.

His involvement was exclusively confirmed by Variety in late August 2025. He'll be joined by Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, and Charlie Cox.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and the main cast lineup is looking seriously impressive.

Tom Holland — Peter Parker

Holland returns as Spider-Man, but his life has completely changed: the world has forgotten who he is. The story promises more street-level realism instead of massive battles — Peter will protect New York from criminals, starting a fresh chapter of his story.

Zendaya — MJ

After the dramatic ending in No Way Home, Zendaya's character will reappear in Peter's life. But will she remember who he really is?

Jacob Batalon — Ned Leeds

Peter's best friend returns, though their relationship has changed after Doctor Strange's spell since he's completely forgotten who Peter Parker is. Social media is buzzing with theories that Ned might become a villain in the new film — the Hobgoblin.

In the comics, his character has long been a villain, and Marvel Studios has been dropping hints. The biggest clue was the No Way Home promotional art, where fans spotted an orange hood next to Ned — the iconic element of Hobgoblin's costume. To viewers, this looked like a subtle teaser of his future transformation. Jacob Batalon's noticeable weight loss and the multiverse storyline have only fueled these suspicions.

Jon Bernthal — The Punisher

Fans of the Netflix version have been waiting ages for his return. Now The Punisher is officially in the MCU. Though Bernthal's character will be toned down — the film's rating won't allow for the usual brutality.

Mark Ruffalo — Hulk

It's hard to imagine Marvel's new phase without Ruffalo's Hulk. Bruce Banner will appear to support Peter in his battle against new evil. But how much screen time he'll get remains under wraps.

Michael Mando — Scorpion

Another intrigue — the return of Mac Gargan, who viewers remember from Homecoming. Will his character finally suit up as Scorpion? We're certainly hoping so, especially since the actor posted a photo of a Hasbro figure featuring the villain's classic look on his social media. A hint?

In the comics, Gargan is known as Scorpion, but in Homecoming he only appeared briefly: first as a criminal on the ferry, then in the post-credits scene where he hinted at wanting revenge on Spider-Man while in prison. This comeback could make the film especially action-packed.

Sadie Sink

The "Stranger Things" star makes her MCU debut. Her role's being kept under wraps, but fans are already speculating. We at zoomboola.com think Sadie could play Mary Jane from another universe (given her red hair, it makes perfect sense). This twist would fit brilliantly into the multiverse concept.

Tramell Tillman

The "Severance" actor just joined the project recently. And once again, Marvel's staying tight-lipped. But we've got our own theory: Tillman's character might not be a superhero at all, but rather Miles Morales' father — the alternate Spider-Man. Why not?

It's still unclear exactly who the "IF" actress will play, but Marvel often brings in actors of her caliber for supporting yet significant roles.

Charlie Cox — Daredevil

Matt Murdock, played by Cox, will once again find himself alongside Peter — not just as his lawyer, but as his crime-fighting partner, according to Wikipedia. "Brand New Day" promises to be a game-changing film for Spider-Man. It brings together veteran heroes, unexpected comebacks, and fresh faces. If Marvel delivers on expectations, we're looking at a movie that'll be talked about for years — as a new starting point for the entire franchise.
