Famous Series "Baywatch" Gets a Reboot

The original series aired from 1989 to 1999 and was hugely successful, becoming one of the defining symbols of the 1990s.

As The Hollywood Reporter reports, the network has decided to reboot the popular show. The series is set to hit screens in 2026-2027. The season will include 12 episodes.

Matt Nix, known for "The Good Guys," will serve as showrunner for Baywatch. The creators of the original series will help him as producers.
