The performer of the hit "7 Rings," Ariana Grande, seems to have seriously decided to develop her acting career. Following her success in "Wicked" (2024), where she played the good witch Glinda, the artist is taking on another high-profile role — this time in the sequel to the cult comedy "Meet the Parents."
According to the popular film publication Deadline, the premiere is set for November 25, 2026. The exact role Grande will play is still under wraps, but the very fact is already intriguing.

The production will be handled by De Niro and Stiller's media companies — Tribeca and Red Hour. The first produced films like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Irishman," while the second produced "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and "Duplex." Tribeca was also involved in the creation of the first two films of the "Meet the Parents" franchise.
The debut film was released in 2000 and immediately became a hit, grossing over $330 million worldwide. The sequels "Meet the Fockers" and "Little Fockers" also did well, with the franchise collectively earning $1.13 billion.
Now Universal clearly doesn't want to let go of its new star. And, it must be admitted, Ariana sounds more than fitting for such a project.
