Flying Dog Crypto fights Lex Luthor`s gang in the new trailer for `Superman`

Which other comic book characters were shown in the video? We share details about the upcoming release.

The red cape is in the air again. But this time, it's not only for Superman. In the new trailer presented by DC, his loyal friend, Krypto the flying dog, is soaring alongside him. He takes on Lex Luthor's gang and does it just as well as Supes himself.

Superman, on the other hand, makes a dramatic entrance: battling a giant monster, saving the city, and ending up... under arrest. However, the most memorable moment is a kiss with Lois Lane against the backdrop of a glass dome in the trailer's finale. Super romantic.

I love the nostalgic 90s comic book feel when Superman himself is lying on a bed in a room resembling a teenage superhero fan's room. James Gunn and his team perfectly capture the entire aesthetic of this film.

The director is James Gunn, the creator of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and the new architect of the DC universe. Starring David Corenswet. Lois is played by Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult transforms into Lex Luthor.

Additionally, the film will feature Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Jonathan Kent), and others. Hawkgirl, by the way, was already shown in the trailer: she held a massive mace in the frame, while nearby, with a magic ring on his finger, Green Lantern levitated in the air.

Judging by the trailer, the plot centers around Superman, who saves but no longer without consequences. People start questioning: why does he decide for everyone, and where are the limits of his authority? And Clark, as usual, just believes in good.

The film will be released in theaters on July 11, opening a new chapter in the rebooted DC universe. Earlier, we at zoomboola.com analyzed the trailer for 'Nobody 2' starring Bob Odenkirk.
