Prime Video has finally unveiled the teaser for one of the most atmospheric projects of the coming years — "Spider-Noir" starring Nicolas Cage. And, honestly, this is not the Spider-Man we're used to.
In the short clip, Cage's character — a brooding 1930s-style detective — appears on a rooftop, wearing a coat and hat against the backdrop of the "Prime" logo. The camera slowly zooms in as a spider crawls across the frame. Then a sudden transition — and there's a gang of thugs that our Spider-Man engages in combat.
The series' plot unfolds in an alternate New York during the Great Depression era. Nicolas plays an aging private detective who is forced to become what he once was — the only superhero in the city.
It is known that the main villain will be played by Brendan Gleeson, known for his role as "Mad-Eye" Moody in the Harry Potter films. The director of the first two episodes will be Harry Bradbeer, the creator of "Enola Holmes."

The premiere is expected in 2026. It can be watched in both color and black-and-white versions, depending on how much you're ready for the atmosphere of true noir. Earlier, we at zoomboola.com reported on the series "The Eternaut," which became a hit on Netflix and surpassed "The Last of Us" in popularity.
