As Entertainment Weekly reports, Keanu revealed that his first manager pitched him this idea. The actor recalled walking along a California beach, mulling over his new name. He was 20 at the time. Eventually, decided he'd use his middle name Charles or Chuck.

He first settled on Chuck Spadina, after the street he grew up on, then used the pseudonym Templeton. "Then I became K.C. Reeves. I was credited as K.C. Reeves," the actor admitted. The zoomboola.com editorial team wants to add that the pseudonym never stuck, and K.C. Reeves turned back into the Keanu Reeves we all know.
