The plot of the 8th season of the iconic TV series “The Game of Thrones” is one of the most heavily guarded secrets of the overseas TV industry. In particular, the series finale is considered to be the biggest secret as it is promised to be a completely unexpected twist for the fans.
Nevertheless, this didn’t stop the actress Emilia Clarke, the Mother of Dragons, from trying to get a camera to the backstage, the entrance to which is marked with a warning red sign.
In the video for Omaze, Emilia dressed as her character – Daenerys Targaryen – is trying to get a camera onto the set, passing through such obstacles as closed doors and the alarm system. As the result of these efforts, Clarke finally reaches the set but only reveals to us the chromakey that is used for the creation of all of the special effects of the series. Following this, Emilia ends up in her dressing room where she demonstrates a pile of paper that is believed to be the scenario of the series and she even reads a couple of lines out loud (the script itself was pixelated).
As it turned out, this video wasn’t simply a way for Emilia to entertain herself but it was a way to ask for donations for the The Royal College of Nursing, which aids the British nurses and medical students. The most generous patron is promised a tour of the set of “The Game of Thrones” and a dinner with some of the TV-series’ stars.
