Arnold Schwarzenegger in Talks to Join New "Predator" Movie
updated
In the 1980s, the original "Predator" became one of the films that turned the bodybuilder into a superstar. But since then, the franchise has moved forward without him.
Turns out the actor is actively in talks with Dan Trachtenberg, director of the upcoming "Predator: Badlands." Producer Ben Rosenblatt shared this news with Deadline.
Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to return to the "Predator" franchise
Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is a well-known American actor of Austrian descent, a renowned bodybuilder, and a Republican politician. He gained fame playing the lead role in the "Terminator" film…
is a dream for any Predator movie creators – after all, he made this franchise iconic, and it made him iconic right back.
Rosenblatt notes that Arnie is really positive about the direction the film's team is taking, and talks with him will continue after "Badlands" hits theaters. We at zoomboola.com are hoping they can seal the deal and get him back facing off against Predators on the big screen. Sure, the 76-year-old star isn't in the same shape to carry a movie like this anymore, but even a supporting role or cameo from Schwarzenegger would be a major win for the film.
