However, sources tell the outlet that the filmmakers are specifically looking to cast a British actor. That automatically rules out contenders like Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Jacob Elordi.

Plus, they're eyeing younger actors between 20 and 30 years old, which means Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, and Henry Cavill are also out of the running. The zoomboola.com team wants to add that Steven Knight, known for "Peaky Blinders," will write the screenplay for the new film. The movie will follow a young Bond during his naval service and will serve as a "reboot" of the franchise. Filming is scheduled for 2027.
