Looks like the world of spy couples just got one of its most unconventional pairings yet. Fresh faces are stepping into the game — and that's exciting. Season two of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" has landed a new lead couple: Mark Edelstein, who's been making waves worldwide after "Anora," and Sophie Thatcher — an actress with a face you've definitely seen somewhere before (like in "Companion").
Donald Glover, one of the show's creators and the first season's leading man, will now be watching from the director's chair while Edelstein and Thatcher dive into a fake marriage for secret operations. Or maybe not so fake?
Who Are Mark Edelstein and Sophie Thatcher?
If Edelstein's name isn't familiar yet, it's time to remember it. After "Anora," where he became the breakout star on the international scene, critics and major platforms started taking notice.

Plot and What's New in Season Two?
The series, remember, doesn't copy the 2005 film with Pitt and Jolie. It's more of an inspired reimagining of the concept. The first season showed us how two strangers get jobs at a secret organization where they must pretend to be married as part of their contract. Instead of the typical "fall in love and shoot things" formula — we got social satire, spy twists, and a weird but compelling dynamic.
