However, the 52-year-old actress, best known for her role in "Charmed," expressed her determination to live. Doherty also shared her hope of finding love again. "I don’t think I’ll be alone forever. I need to love myself and come to terms with my past before I can move forward, and now I’m almost certain I'll meet someone soon, hopefully."

She plans to discuss her eight-year battle with cancer, her divorce, life outlook, and more in her upcoming podcast, "Let's Clear the Air with Shannen Doherty," set in a memoir format. The premiere is scheduled for December 6. Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. She announced remission in 2017, but the disease returned in 2019.

Doherty reflects on the existential questions raised by her illness and its recurrence, leading her to seek a greater purpose in life. She hopes her podcast will raise awareness about the disease and contribute to finding a cure. "It’s crazy to me that there still isn’t a cure," she says.
