Pedro Pascal, is that you? New York chose his doppelganger — and it's a father of many from Brooklyn

What award did the contest winner receive? What does the man who looks incredibly similar to a Hollywood actor look like and where does he work?

Who said lookalike contests were a thing of the past? New York just proved otherwise — and did it with almost Hollywood-level flair.

On Father's Day, June 15th, the streets of the Lower East Side transformed into an impromptu red carpet where it wasn't Pedro Pascal himself posing for cameras, but his charismatic "copies."

The occasion? Burritos, glory, and love. The venue — Mexican restaurant Son Del North.

Nearly three dozen contestants took the stage. Some banked on scruff and glasses, others on charisma and that signature melancholy gaze. But the winner was George Guntas, a humble Brooklyn dad of three.

What do we know about him? George works as a lighting technician on "The Daily Show." He doesn't even use social media and was literally dragged to the event by his wife. After winning the contest, he took home not just $50 and a year's supply of burritos, but also the title of New York's top doppelganger.

According to NYpost, the judges — and audience — agreed: he perfectly combines the physical resemblance with that signature "kind exhaustion" that defines all of the actor's characters — from the bounty hunter in "The Mandalorian" to the post-apocalyptic hero in "The Last of Us." Earlier, we at zoomboola.com told you about who Pedro Pascal played before becoming a superstar.
