Camila Cabello’s story resembles a fairy tale: for the first time making herself known on The X Factor talent show, already a few years later the daughter of immigrants from Cuba became one of the brightest stars in the orbit of modern pop music.

Childhood and family

Camila Cabello (Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao) was born on March 3, 1997 in the picturesque town of Kokhimar, Cuba. It was there that Ernest Hemingway, who lived in his estate in the suburb of Havana from 1949 to 1952, often went fishing, and it was there that he met Gregorio Fuentes, the local fisherman who became his friend and the primary character of the novel The Old Man and the Sea, for which the writer won the Pulitzer Prize.
