Childhood and youth
The future actor was born in the family of roofer Willie Mackie and housewife Martha Mackie. Anthony's creative abilities showed up at an early age. He first attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts then studied at the Winston-Salem School of Art, where he mastered theatrical skills.
