Fighting Rooster Battles Giant Monsters in "Rooster Fighter" Anime Trailer

The trailer shows us the main character, who, as you've probably figured out, is a talking rooster.

In several clips, we can see him rescuing a girl who's about to be devoured by a massive creature; saving a chick being attacked by a one-eyed monster; and recoiling in horror at the thought of eating a chicken leg (obviously).

At the end of the trailer, we see the "combat rooster" facing off against a black hen armed with a sword. It all looks bizarre, but draws you in with its absurdity and humor.

What the anime will be about

The story unfolds in Japan, where mutants began appearing three years ago. Some are harmless, but others are deadly dangerous. These demons are born from deep human pain and quickly evolve into intelligent, ruthless creatures.

Keiji is a wandering warrior with a beak who's dedicated himself to destroying these creatures. He lives by his own code of honor and won't tolerate foolishness. His goal is to find and destroy the demon nicknamed "White Demon" who killed his sister.

The source manga

The anime is based on the manga "Rooster Fighter" (originally "ケイジ"), created by Shu Sakuratani. The series has been running since 2020 and has received positive reviews from readers.

Despite the wild premise, the story isn't just comedy: it has tragedy, genuine emotions, and that signature Japanese mix of martial arts and the samurai code.
