The fox and the rabbit are fleeing from the police rhinoceroses and find themselves in the desert in the trailer for `Zootopia 2`

What new locations were shown in the continuation of the animated film? And who will become the third main character in the second part? We will tell you.

Disney has finally shown fans the first trailer of the sequel, and it turned out just how an ideal teaser should be: nothing is clear, but it makes you want to watch.

This time, a new character appears in Zootopia—a mysterious snake named Gary. He bursts into the lives of the already familiar Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde literally from the sky (in the literal sense: he falls on their heads), after which the trio embarks on a rapid escape from rhino policemen.

The trailer also flashes an underwater world with sea lions and a beaver, a desert, mountains, a winter location, and even a nightclub with dozens of different animals: from lions to a giraffe.

At the end of the trailer, the antagonist of the second part is revealed. His face is hidden under a large hood, and his eyes glow yellow. Judy and Nick retreat in fear. Will they stand up to evil? We'll find out on November 26, 2025.

The directors of the sequel are the creators of the first part—Jared Bush and Byron Howard. Among the producers is Yvett Merino, who won an Oscar for 'Encanto'.

The old characters are returning too: Ginnifer Goodwin voiced Judy again, Jason Bateman voiced Nick. Plus newcomers: Ke Huy Quan as the snake, Quinta Brunson as a quokka psychotherapist named Fuzzby.

The pop star Gazelle will also return (voiced by singer Shakira). And comedian Fortune Feimster voiced a beaver named Nibbles.

The first part in 2016 grossed over a billion at the box office, won an Oscar, and became a meme sensation. The sequel seems to be aiming high as well. Previously, on zoomboola.com, we analyzed the trailer for the series 'It: Welcome to Derry'.
