Craig and Murphy are expected to play prisoners in Damien Chazelle's currently unnamed project. The same Chazelle who brought us "Whiplash," "La La Land," and "Babylon."
The idea is simple: two iconic stars, one prison, and a drama that is sure to spare no expense.
At least, I hope so, because the acting skills of these artists are top-notch: remember "Defiance" (2008), where Daniel played a soldier, or the recent "Oppenheimer" (2023) with Cillian as a nuclear physicist, for which he won an Oscar.

Information is minimal for now, everything is strictly confidential: perhaps the project is being kept under wraps to avoid leaks. It is only known that filming is planned for the end of the year, with Paramount responsible for production and distribution.
Interestingly, before this drama, Chazelle wanted to shoot a biopic about stuntman Evel Knievel with Leonardo DiCaprio. But the actor suddenly switched to a Martin Scorsese project (presumably about Frank Sinatra) — filming needs to be rushed because the master's age waits for no one (he turned 81 last November).
So Damien pulled the prison drama idea out of the drawer. It was waiting for its time. The main thing is that it turns out no worse or on par with "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile." It would be nice to have the straightforward brutality of "Lock Up" with Stallone.
However, knowing Chazelle, we're in for something completely original. We wait. Earlier, we at zoomboola.com reported on a new Netflix rom-com starring Mark Ruffalo and Natalie Portman.
