Harrison Ford Tears Up and Kisses Wife After Receiving Award
The Hollywood star was honored for his outstanding career achievements at the film critics' awards. The Indiana Jones actor attended the ceremony with his third wife, 59-year-old Calista Flockhart. The couple has been together since 2010.
Upon hearing his name, Harrison tenderly kissed his wife and then took the stage. Calista also couldn't hold back her tears, just like her husband. "I want to thank my beloved wife. She always supports me when I need it, and I always do," shared Ford, his voice trembling. The actor noted how incredibly happy he was to be in the room, observing the opportunities available to talented people in the film industry, something he didn't have at the start of his career. Harrison expressed his admiration for everyone involved in filmmaking. "I'm incredibly fortunate. I'm thrilled to receive this award, which means so much to me. I'm grateful to all the wonderful actors I've had the chance to work with. I'm happy for the many fantastic opportunities I've had. I'm thankful for everything. Thank you! I won't take any more of your time," the actor concluded his emotional speech.
Harrison Ford found happiness in his third marriage. From his first marriage to Mary Marquardt, he has a son, Willard. In his second marriage, to Melissa Mathison, he became a father twice: the ex-couple has a son and a daughter. The actor also has a granddaughter and two grandsons.
