Miller shared the baby's gender, announcing, "We are expecting a girl." She noted her 10-year-old daughter Marlowe, from her relationship with Tom Sturridge, is excited to become a big sister. The star of "Anatomy of a Scandal" candidly spoke about her apprehensions regarding childbirth at 41, humorously addressing her status as an "older" mother. "I’d love to get to a point where I didn’t feel the need to make a joke of my being older and having a baby, to show I’m in on the joke," she explained.

Reflecting on her first childbirth experience, Miller admitted it was traumatic. She had intended a natural birth with her older sister Savannah, an experienced home birth advocate, as her doula. However, plans changed after 27 hours of labor, resulting in an emergency cesarean section. Now, Miller, who previously dated Jude Law, aims for a natural birth after cesarean. She has found a doctor who supports such births, but remains open-minded, stating, "I just don’t think I’ll put that pressure on myself."

Miller also addressed the 15-year age difference with her partner, Ollie. "I would imagine it would be complicated for anyone to get their head around, but there’s been nothing but love and joy. I don’t think you can legislate on matters of the heart. I certainly have never been able to. For Oli, it is real that I might want to be with someone older," she philosophically concluded in her interview with Vogue.
