Childhood and Family
Zoe was born on October 23, 1994, in Los Angeles. Her father is restaurateur John Sidel. Her mother is actress Rosanna Arquette, a member of one of Hollywood's most famous dynasties. Her parents divorced in 1999.Zoe's grandfather was actor Lewis Arquette, and her aunts and uncles include Patricia, David, Richmond, and Alexis Arquette.
Zoe's childhood was split between Los Angeles and the Esalen Institute (Big Sur, California), a commune for creative people. This bohemian atmosphere shaped her aesthetic and worldview.

Acting Career
Her first film role was a bit part in Sofia Coppola's biographical drama "The Bling Ring" (2013).Zoe turned down the lead role in Gia Coppola's directorial debut "Palo Alto" (2013), where she would've starred alongside Jack Kilmer. "I had doubts. Being in front of the camera without being able to control how I looked was scary. I didn't feel ready," she explained.
She spent the next nine years searching for her calling. During this time, she appeared in the TV movie "Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?" (2016) and had a part in the horror film "The Institute" (2017), but these were small roles.

A new chapter in her acting career began in 2022 with "Signs of Love," where Zoe played Jane, a deaf girl. The film follows Frankie, a guy from a rough Philadelphia neighborhood trying to escape petty crime and drugs, and his relationship with Jane from a well-off family. Zoe's career breakthrough came when Luc Besson cast her in the dual role of Elizabeth and Mina in his new film about the classic Dracula story. Filming began in March 2024 in Finland's Kainuu region, chosen for its beautiful snowy landscapes.

In 2024, Zoe teamed up with Los Angeles musician Reggie Debris to create the alt-pop duo L'Espiral. Their first release was a cover of Sinéad O'Connor's "Troy." She recorded it in July 2023 as a gift for her mom, who was going through a divorce from banker Todd Morgan. O'Connor died the day before the studio session. "That eerie coincidence made the decision to honor Sinéad even more meaningful," Zoe explained.Her first official single "Erotes" told the story of a toxic relationship with someone struggling with addiction: "It's a song about battling your partner's demons while trying not to drown in your own darkness, and at the same time trying to keep love from sinking."

In 2016, Zoe started dating musician Thomas Cohen, frontman of the band SCUM.In May 2023, Page Six reported that Zoe was romantically involved with Sean Penn's son, Hopper. They starred together in the film "Signs of Love."
