In the new Marvel series about Vision, there will be a heroine whom Ultron wanted to make his bride

Who is Jocasta, who first appeared in comics in the late '70s? And what will be the timeframe for the series? Here's what we know…

Disney+ is expanding the Marvel universe — and it seems that Paul Bettany (a.k.a. Vision) will have an unexpected partner in the new spin-off. Or a rival? Or both at once.

Anyway, actress T'Nia Miller, known for her roles in "The Fall of the House of Usher," "Foundation," and "The Haunting of Bly Manor," has joined the cast of the series "Vision."

According to the popular publication Deadline, Miller will play Jocasta — cunning, strong, and dangerous. In the comics, this character, created by artists Jim Shooter and George Perez in the late '70s, is none other than an android created by Ultron as... a bride.

Yes, the evil artificial intelligence had such ambitions. However, Jocasta quickly realized who the real villain was and joined the Avengers.

Plot details of the new series are still under wraps, but it is known that the action will take place after the events of "WandaVision" (2021), when the resurrected Vision (now with a white body and no memories) attempts to regain his humanity and possibly figure out who he really is.

He will have quite the company: James Spader returns as Ultron, and the cast also includes Todd Stashwick, Ruairi O'Connor, and Faran Tahir (Raza from the first "Iron Man" — remember him?).
WandaVision Series Trailer
Let's recall that the original series "WandaVision" told the story of how Wanda, grieving, enchanted an entire town and recreated her ideal life with her deceased lover. The finale was dramatic: Vision disappeared, and Wanda became the Scarlet Witch, leaving to "learn to control her power."

Now it's Vision's turn. And, apparently, he not only has to piece together his identity but also deal with a female robot who has her own plans. Previously, we at zoomboola.com reported that Marvel has postponed both upcoming "Avengers" films.
