Hurricane Milton, though weakened, still poses a threat and hit Florida's west coast on Wednesday evening. The Category 3 storm left over 2 million homes without power and brought destructive winds capable of causing significant damage.

The hurricane caused dangerous storm surges along much of the Gulf Coast, including densely populated areas like Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Fort Myers.

Notably, this is not the first time Swift has helped those affected by devastating natural events. In 2023, she donated $1 million to the Tennessee relief fund after a tornado.
