Avril Lavigne's dream came true — the singer received her cherished star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A whole event was held in honor of this. Her fiance Derek Ryan Smith came to share the joy with his beloved, as well as friends Machine Gun Kelly, Joel Madden and others.
Getting a star on the Walk of Fame was my real dream. I still can't believe it. I would never have thought that I could have my own star here. I am infinitely grateful and happy that I am still doing music, she said. By the way, this is not one celebration that awaits the singer this year — her fiance proposed to her right under the Eiffel Tower. Who knows, maybe the wedding is just around the corner.
