Your Honor (2020-2023)

IMDb Rating: 7.6 out of 10

After "Breaking Bad," Cranston once again portrayed a complex and internally dramatic character. He plays the respected judge Michael Desiato, whose life is turned upside down when his son hits a man and flees the scene.

The situation is complicated by the fact that the victim is the son of a local crime boss. Desiato faces a difficult choice: to protect his son by breaking the law or to uphold his principles, risking everything. Cranston masterfully conveys the inner struggle of a character trying to sit on two chairs, which, as usual, leads to no good.
'Your Honor' explores themes of morality, justice, and the consequences of actions. The series is praised for its well-written script and the performances of the main actors, especially Bryan Cranston, who received critical acclaim. 'Your Honor' is a gripping and intense legal drama that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats as they watch Michael navigate the dangerous waters of crime and corruption in the city.

Cranston brilliantly portrays the good-natured, yet immature and clumsy father, who constantly finds himself in ridiculous situations. This role earned the actor several Emmy nominations, showcasing his comedic talent.
Although Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is the main character, it's Bryan Cranston's portrayal of the father, Hal, that makes the series so engaging. This show, for lack of a better word, is crazy. The rest of the cast is also fantastic. It really 'feels' like a real family.

The X-Files (1993-2018, episode "Drive")

IMDb Rating: 8.6 out of 10 (entire series)

Even before "Breaking Bad," Cranston and showrunner Vince Gilligan worked together on the cult series. In the episode "Drive," Cranston plays Patrick Crump, who suffers from a mysterious illness causing severe headaches. The only way to alleviate the pain is to constantly move westward.

Gilligan was looking for an actor who could evoke both fear and sympathy in the audience, and Cranston was perfect for the role.
Is this show one of the greatest ever made? I think you could make a very compelling case for it. Yes, it is a sci-fi show, but it's done in such a way that it appeals to a wide audience. That's why the show lasted so long and had such enormous popularity, which it still retains.

He played Hammond Druthers, Ted Mosby's self-absorbed and cynical architect boss. Druthers considers himself a genius, though his projects only provoke ridicule, and he terrorizes his subordinates. Eventually, Mosby becomes the boss and fires Druthers.
'How I Met Your Mother' is one of those comedies you can watch anytime it's on TV, or even binge, and it will always be funny. The series will go down in history as one of the greatest comedies of all time (and rightly so).
