The Mass Effect game adaptation will be made by the same people behind the Fallout series

Word that the adaptation was in development emerged last November. What should we expect from it?

First off, we need to mention that Amazon MGM's creative strategist Scott Farris is working on the sci-fi series. This comes from screenwriter Daniel Casey, according to Eurogamer.

"We have a great pilot script and series outline, plus the team Amazon has assembled (the same people from Fallout, including the fantastic Scott Farris). And it's just incredible. Stay tuned for more news," Casey wrote on social media.

The zoomboola.com editorial team reminds readers that the first Mass Effect game, which tells the story of Captain Shepard's fight against the mysterious Reaper race that wants to "cleanse" the universe of humans and their allied alien races, came out in 2007 and got two sequels. In 2017, the trilogy continued with Mass Effect: Andromeda. The series was hugely successful, and its protagonist – Captain Shepard – became one of the most recognizable heroes in video games. As for the Fallout series, created from the post-apocalyptic game franchise, its first season dropped last year. On Rotten Tomatoes, the adaptation earned rave reviews from critics and regular viewers alike. Personally, though, I found it pretty shallow and dumb.
