James Gunn Responds to Fans Calling for Boycott of His 'Superman'

Zack Snyder fans are unhappy with the direction DC Studios is taking under Gunn's leadership and have decided to attack the new creative director's work to harm him.

As Collider reports, Gunn's opponents have a pretty straightforward plan. They want to spread "Superman" spoilers everywhere, bomb the film with negative reviews, and block online ticket sales by booking theater seats but not actually buying them.

"Funny. I think we'll survive," Gunn noted on his blog, adding that "eight fans of that guy [referring to the initiative's author – ed.] aren't likely to change the course of events."

The zoomboola.com editorial team reminds readers that DC Studios brought James Gunn on board to work on their new films because projects released as part of the "DC Extended Universe" – including "Justice League," "Suicide Squad," "The Flash," two Wonder Woman films, and several other pictures – didn't perform as well as the studio had hoped.
