Also, Putin required the denial to accept any of ex-USSR countries to NATO. On February 22, Vladimir Putin ratified the agreement on the recognition of the DNR and LNR. He made an hour long speech and said, that Ukraine was created by Vladimir Lenin and Donbass’ territory was „forced into„ its borders. Also, Putin thinks, that Kyiv authorities are „Russophobic„ and „neo-Nazis„. „Ukraine wants to return Crimea with force„, he said.
